Sadija A. Smiley
Founder and CEO
Dedicated to raising awareness and creating a supportive environment for families affected by stillbirth, Sadija passionately founded Stillborn And Infant Loss Support Inc. in November 2017.

Angela Mendelson
Board President
Angela Mendelson has always had a passion for helping others. Currently she is a Service Coordinator for people with developmental disabilities, helping to connect them to services in the community and making sure their needs are being met.

Tiara Riley
Board Member
Tiara Nicole Riley is a motivational speaker who focused on mental health, time
management, and women's empowerment. She has experience speaking to large and
intimate audiences while maintaining connection and engagement throughout.

Rahmatu Kassimu
Board Member
Dr. Rahmatu Kassimu is an educator, researcher, public health consultant, and change agent. She has spent the last nine years educating students and training teachers to advocate for themselves in their educational trajectories.

Senam Attipoe
Programs & Services Assistant
Senam has always been passionate about helping others. As she honed this passion, it took the form of ensuring that everyone has equal opportunity to achieve their full health. Throughout her time at the University of Maryland, College Park, she learned about the health disparities faced by various minority populations, particularly women and women of color, and developed a particular interest in maternal health.

Derrick Nelson is a seasoned and result-driven business banker with a mission to provide exceptional customer service and financial expertise to the communities in which he serves. He has worked 5 years in the finance industry cultivating long-term client relationships with businesses of various revenue profiles.

Jacqueline Greely
Board Member
Jacqueline Greely is the visionary of Guided Wisdom Doula & Wellness (GWDW), a boutique firm that focuses on postpartum awareness, education, and support; as well as, pregnancy and infant loss advocacy. GWDW was birthed in 2014 during an intensive doula training certification in the fall of 2014.

NaTasha Benjamin
Board Member
NaTasha Benjamin is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Certified Perinatal Mental Health clinician (PMH-C), and Approved Clinical Supervisor. NaTasha has 20+ years of cumulative experience working in a variety of capacities serving individuals, families, and couples through difficulties experienced with mental health; starting in North Carolina and now in Maryland.
