Programs & Services
In the US, over 22,000 babies are stillborn every year.* SAILS understands the pain and suffering so many families endure and provides community support services, outreach programs, fundraising opportunities and an advocacy network to help reduce the emotional and financial burdens they encounter throughout their grieving process.
After a parent experiences stillbirth in the hospital they are offered choices as to what they can do with their baby. Some choose to use a Cuddle Cot, an extension of time, allowing bereaved parents, families and friends the chance to make memories in the hospital without feeling rushed. SAILS partners with various healthcare facilities to provide the Cuddle Cot to their patients.
Want to request that a cuddle cot be donated to a hospital/facility?
Unfortunately, not every hospital/facility has a Cuddle Cot. If you know of a hospital/facility in need of support to allow their grieving families more time to make memories with their baby, please let us know.
